Getting to H2J's 2010 Camp Location
H2J Riding School and Private Summer Camp is located twenty five miles from Aspen at Cedar Ridge Ranch.
In 1993, H2J began as a summer day camp for children to learn how to ride and care for horses. The success of the program was quickly established and enthusiastic riders returned to the camp year after year.
In 1999, H2J moved to Cozy Point Ranch. Owned by the City of Aspen, this 200 acre facility has three outdoor riding arenas and a 150'x300' heated indoor arena, indoor boarding stalls and lots of pasture with running water.
For the 2010 camp season, while our new facility is being built, H2J will be operating out of Cedar Ridge Ranch, located on the Crystal Springs Road in the mid-valley area.
The camp continues to train hundreds of young riders each year in the safest, most educational environment possible. Many students attend 3-4 consecutive years, progressing to advanced jumping and equitation. Many enter local Hunter/Jumper competitions. Year round lessons are available and students continue to ride throughout the winter season.
